The war for our minds.

There are a few world wide phenomenons that transcend Race, culture, religion, and gender, but most of all time. Two of the biggest of these are Alien abductions or E.T. encounters, and supernatural encounters be it from Ghosts/shadow people, spirits, Demons, or Angels. You can find these types of experiences dating back to the oldest civilisations. Legends of when the God's came down to interact with man can also be found transpiring into modern times such as With Joseph Smith, founder of the Mormon religion among many other mainstream religions including Christianity.

Ancient India has volumes of sanskrit writings on such interaction. If these events are allowed to occure long enough there is most always a tranferance or "giving of some hidden knowledge"

It is believed that much of todays technology has come from such encounters with supernatural beings. Now as Christians we might find this a little over the top.

Until you read the Bible. There are many accounts of God empowering man or giving the ability to increase skills, and advance knowledge. Such as in building the Ark for Noah. How else could Noah have the knowledge to produce a working seaworthy vessel that size in what was presumably a non maritime era in human history. Or the Arc of the Covenant, and the building of the Temple.

It's said that the book of Enoch records such interaction dealing with a certain number of fallen Angels. I have yet to review Enoch. Don't get all spiritual on me about Enoch. I do not believe the book is inspired or should be in the bible. I do however think that there are historical accounts written in it, that the bible appears to back up as authentic.

However again as we've seen in the previous posts there is a knowledge that comes from God and there is other knowledge that also has a supernatural source however the end results of that knowledge is something that we were never intended to particapate in.

Pr 14:12 -
There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.

Pr 16:25 -
There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death

The knowledge we attain too must confirm God's Lord ship in our lives. The Holy Spirit only brings us into a clearer perspective of Jesus. This should really be a draft, I'll rivise as I review. I"m trying to stay on point.

The Daniel 10 encounter.

Daniel 10:7 I, Daniel, am the only one who saw this vision. The men with me saw nothing, but they were suddenly terrified and ran away to hide. 8 So I was left there all alone to watch this amazing vision. My strength left me, my face grew deathly pale, and I felt very weak. 9 When I heard him speak, I fainted and lay there with my face to the ground. 10 Just then a hand touched me and lifted me, still trembling, to my hands and knees. 11 And the man said to me, "O Daniel, greatly loved of God, listen carefully to what I have to say to you. Stand up, for I have been sent to you." When he said this to me, I stood up, still trembling with fear. 12 Then he said, "Don't be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayers."

OK so this an incident the we see recorded in the book of Daniel. There are some pretty close similarities, however the content of the dialog are very different. There is fear and trembling mention again. As well as a vision. However there is also a physical encounter that fallows the vision. This Spirit also speaks to Daniel just as in Eliphaz's experience. Let's look at what this spirit says to Daniel.

"O Daniel, greatly loved of God," 12 Then he said, "Don't be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.

The first Quote is a huge contrast from the vese in Job. God has a Great Love towards this Man Daniel. So that God would even hear this man and answer his prayers. God seems to consider this weak little chunk of mortal flesh in hight regard. Mind you this predates the cleansing blood and righteousness of Christ Jesus. There appears to be 2 seperate agendas here. Both spirits appear to have some knowledge of God, and yet they paint two very different pictures of God towards mankind. More to come.

The spirit's true identity.

Then I heard a voice saying: 17) 'Can a mortal be more righteous than God? Can a man be more pure than his Maker? 18) If He puts no trust in His servants, If He charges His angels with error, 19) How much more those who dwell in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, Who are crushed before a moth? 20) They are broken in pieces from morning till evening; They perish forever, with no one regarding. 21) Does not their own excellence go away? They die, even without wisdom.

'Now here is the portion of the verse where the entity gives its self away. At the same time trying to produce a self image for Eliphaz that he is a lesser creation than the fallen Angel speaking with him. The words this demon chooses are methodical and intentional. With a much desired result. Also painting an intimate picture of an unfaithful God towards His creation. " If he puts no trust in His servants, If he charges His angels with error, How much more those who dwell in houses of clay," Continually reminding Eliphaz of the inferior existence of those living within the constraints of mortality. Keeping Eliphaz's focus and directing it towards a lie based on circumstance. This is a technique we find daily in our spiritual warfare. I am continually reminded by way of suggestion of all my circumstances and inadequacies."

If He puts no trust in His servants, If He charges His angels with error." Right here the spirit gives its self away. The origin and it's intentions become clear. This spirit is a fallen angel no longer in obedience to God its creator. And a bit bitter from the sound of it. It's not a long lost loved one trying to communicate from beyond the grave.
